Sheraz is patient, generous, hard working, agile, and very knowledgeable about current trends in real estate. This was my first purchase of a home; I never felt pressured to make moves I didn’t comfortable with and felt completely supported when it was time to act. He definitely had my back. My circumstance was a unique one with respect to timing- my lease ended the same month I closed on the apartment which also coincided with me being out of country for almost a month. Sheraz was recommended to us by our financial advisor, who said Sheraz would be the perfect person to both sell our condo and find us a new one with minimum disruption. We first met Sheraz via emails and text messages, and in person at a showing in Mission. He was clear from the beginning that he needed to know our priorities for a new condo, realistic price ranges for buying and selling, our negotiable criteria and our wish lists.

In the first property we viewed, it was clear that despite some real advantages, there were things we couldn’t live with. Sheraz instinctually recognized the look on our faces when we saw something we didn’t like, and never once tried to hard sell us on anything, even if we were 85% sold on it. He continually assured us that when we found the place we wanted, we’d walk in and know it immediately. The fact that he was so respectful of other peoples’ properties while viewing them gave us tremendous confidence he would exercise the same degree of care with ours.

In total, Sheraz patiently showed us about 20 properties over the course of about a month. There were properties he recommended, and ones we found. His response was almost instantaneous every time we contacted him.

Most impressively, Sheraz adapted to my caustic sense of humour - and learned (eventually) to give back as good as he got. Finding the property we eventually purchased came about only because of Sheraz’s diligent work on our behalf. We knew we wanted to be in this building, and Sheraz doggedly staked it out. A perfect unit finally came up, and Sheraz was able to get us in to view it before it was officially listed. He skillfully negotiated a deal to purchase right away, skirting a bidding war on what would have been a hot property.

Our former condominium was a potentially difficult sale, given that it was an industrial loft, and served a very particular taste. Sheraz continually assured us that as with our new purchase, the perfect buyer would walk in and fall in love with it. And within 21 days, someone did. He was the perfect buyer, with whom we’ve ended up forging a friendship.

In addition to Sheraz’s own talents as a realtor, he put in place a network with other realtors, financial advisors and lawyers that he effectively communicated with. This provided us seamless service and huge advantages, in navigating us throughout the seemly complex process, addressing issues quickly and successfully when they arose, and providing assurance that key items would not be missed.
